The Hazard Competing in Moro Bar Jam

A rock band from St Kevin’s College was the crowd favourite at the South Canterbury Smokefreerockquest in Timaru on Saturday night. The Hazard, comprising Year 13 students Oliver Hailes on guitar, Tom Lord on bass guitar, and Wade Guthrie on drums, has made it into the next stage of the nationwide contest by picking up the most text votes to win the Smokefree People’s Choice award.

The Hazard will now compete at The Dunedin Cadbury Chocolate Carnival Moro Band Jam

You can watch NZ hip hop band Smashproof and enjoy a night of local talent that will rock your socks off! The Moro Bar Jam is on at the Regent Theatre Thursday the 15th of July.

Make sure you are there to see if The Hazard will win and get the opportunity to have their song recorded and played on Classic Hits and ZM.
